Kandrain Leggett is an Educational Specialist with CTC Traditional Upward Bound Griffin High School Programs. I am a highly skilled youth programmer with over 25 years of experience with working with youth and who has a passion for teen development, advocacy, mentoring and fostering personal and academic success. I am a proud graduate of Jackson State University where I received a B.A. in Psychology and where I became a member of the illustrious organization of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Within my career path, I had the opportunity to work as a para professional in the Department of Exceptional Students (DES) at Mundy's Mill High School; Program Director with Fuqua Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club and as a Teen Development Director at the Andrew & Walter Young YMCA. I am very blessed and thankful that I am able to continue my life's journey of empowering teens to become awesome, amazing, productive and successful adults.
